Crochet Comfort

Hi! My name is Elyssa and I LOVE to crochet. I learned the basics from my mom as a child. I crocheted here and there throughout college, but it wasn’t until my adult life (the last 25 years) that I really got going.

After the loss of my son in 2018, and then the pandemic, crochet was the only thing in which I found joy and comfort (hence the name). I find it calming, relaxing and therapeutic.  Some people reach for the bottle, I reach for my crochet hooks, and don’t even get me started about yarn!
